WLE week(day) 2

the next monday i stayed home because my mother and i decided that we should visit stapleton ballet school and talk to them in person. my mother had emailed them the day before and we still had not gotten a reply so we thought we should talk to them in person. so we went to stapleton around 1 pm and talked to the lady at the office and one of my dance teachers that i had when i was taking classes there. she said that they did not hav enough office space for another person but i might be able to be in dance classes and help th teachers and my teacher wanted me to help him with the rehearsals for his show and i might help around with organizing the costume storage room and other stuff of that sort, so she told me that she would have to talk to the headmistress but i had the internship. we later on got an email telling me at what hours i would work and whose classes i would assist. so monday was a success and i start feb. 25. i think what helped me was the fact that i know the people there and they know me, so that helped a whole lot, and i can't wait to start my internship.

WLE Day One

When I came to school that morning I was expecting to just wait there until ten, talk to the people at World Arts West, have my intership finalized and then go, but that didn't exactly turn out how I had hoped. I waited at school 'till 10 and waited for my moms call, because the internship people were supposed to write back to my moms email but they didn't. so when it was about 11 i got a call from my mom tellling me that, because they were so busy and short on staff they could not meet some of the WLE requirements. Like they didn't have a person who could spend 20% of their time with me, and they were concerned with some of the other requirements as well. so my advisor talked to mother about it and we had to assure them that it was alright if they didn't meet those requirements as long as i had an internship and a project i could complete.
My mother wrote them an email saying that and now all that was left to do was wait. while i was waiting i decided to help my friends in helping their internships but in the end all i did was sit and read, which was good because i got a good amount of reading done. I also wrote to a recording studio, but was not expecting to get a reply and have still not gotten one. we still haven't heard from World Arts West either, but I am hoping that they will hire me as an intern.
